Currently living and working in San Antonio, Rolando Briseño received his M.F.A. at Columbia University. His public art projects include installations at the Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport, San Antonio International Airport, the Austin Convention Center, Trinity University San Antonio, Brooklyn Library System, North White Plains Railroad Station, and Metro North in NYC; he also has three public art pieces along the San Antonio Riverwalk. Briseño's work is included in the collections of major museums such as the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C., and the Brooklyn Museum of Art, as well as in private collections in Europe, Latin America, and the United States. He is also the recipient of the Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Study Center Residency in Lago di Como, Italy.
